Make & Take Apple Pie Filling Class

Spend the morning learning and having fun at the University of Illinois Extension Education Center & Community Teaching Kitchen by attending our Make and Take Apple Pie Filling Class. Susan Glassman, Nutrition and Wellness Educator, will teach about using a water-bath canner, and canning safely. Gain hands-on experience as we wash, peel, chop, measure, cook, and process Apple Pie Filling together. Take home a jar and recipes to enjoy.
This class is for those that are beginners or seasoned preservers! A $15.00 fee will cover the purchase of supplies. All you have to bring is yourself! Class size is limited to 8.
Make and Take Apple Pie Filling will be at the University of Illinois Extension Education Center & Community Teaching Kitchen, 944 First Street, LaSalle, on September 18, 2021, from 8:30 - Noon.
